SOCAR Polymer employee speaks at a scientific conference

Elvira Babayeva, Director of the SOCAR Polymer Quality Assurance Laboratory, delivered a presentation at a scientific conference dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Academician Yusif Mammadaliyev. The event was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.

The conference marked the culmination of a series of events jointly organized by the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Azerbaijan Technical University (AZTU), Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (AZMIU), Baku Engineering University (BEU), and the student scientific societies of Sumgait State University (SSU). Discussions focused on the exchange of experience between science and industry, as well as the link between applied research and real-world production processes. Our representative highlighted the international product quality assurance standards implemented at SOCAR Polymer’s internationally accredited laboratory, the role of laboratory analysis in production operations, and the strategic importance of collaboration between universities and industry. During her presentation, she emphasized that SOCAR Polymer places a strong priority on training young specialists, integrating scientific potential with real production environments, and supporting the development of applied research.
