Tsinghua University delegation visited SOCAR Polymer

SOCAR Polymer hosted a delegation of 17 representatives – including 7 PhD candidates and 7 master’s students – of Tsinghua University Shenzhen International Graduate School, one of the leading higher education institutions of the People’s Republic of China. The visit was organized within the framework of the “Belt and Road” Initiative and aimed at strengthening cooperation between the university and industrial enterprises located along the Silk Road.
SOCAR Polymer’s Chief Engineer, Arif Guliyev welcomed the delegation and delivered a comprehensive presentation about the company. The guests then toured the plant’s laboratory, control room, bagging area, and finished goods warehouse, accompanied by Emin Demirov, Director for HDPE Production, and Perviz Isgandarov, Director for PP Production.
At the end of the visit, both parties exchanged commemorative gifts and expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation.
In line with Azerbaijan’s traditions of hospitality, a lunch featuring national cuisine was organized for the guests. The delegation thanked SOCAR Polymer for the high level of organization and left with very positive impressions.
