An interview given to REAL TV
Fuad Ahmadov, General Director of SOCAR Polymer, gave an interview to REAL TV. In the interview, he noted that 2023 was a very successful year for the Company. In 2023, 210 thousand tons of products were produced (139 thousand tons of polypropylene, 71 thousand tons of high-density polyethylene), with a 26% increase as compared to the previous year. 90% of the products are delivered to export markets. More than 50 products of our assortment are widely used in various areas of life.
In addition, Fuad Ahmadov noted in his interview that the average age of employees working at our enterprise is 35 and that most of them are residents of Sumgayit city. The Company attaches great importance to the education and training of personnel, with regular training sessions arranged for employees. Personnel for the Company is hired with preference given to the veterans and family members of our soldiers who lost their lives in the Garabagh wars. Currently, 49 of our employees are war veterans or family members of war shehids.
