The SOCAR Polymer Summer Internship Programme offers senior students an opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge to practical application, boost soft skills and develop leadership qualities. Since the launch of the Internship Programme in 2016, the number of applications has tripled and dozens of students gained internship experience. 

For eight weeks straight, successful incumbents will be studying the Company’s processes and procedures, mastering new competences and contributing to corporate performance excellence. Following an introductory course, the students will break up into groups to join various project teams working on action-oriented tasks at SOCAR Polymer plants and office in Sumgayit city.

To become an intern at SOCAR Polymer, you need to apply by choosing one or two discipline(s) of interest to you and follow the step-by-step instructions below to apply online. Eligible to apply are citizens of Azerbaijan Republic who are currently in the last year of their Bachelor Degree Program, or in any year of a Master’s Degree Program.

ONLINE APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Choose from the list a core subject field responding to your interests and inclinations. Fill in the online application form, have your transcript and CV enclosed. The process takes about 30 minutes. Please note, that only fully completed application forms are accepted for review, those with all fields filled and additional documents attached. Once you submit the form, you will receive an email confirmation of receipt. 

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT 

English Language Fluency Assessment Test: Once you pass screening, you will be invited to an English Language Fluency Assessment Test, for evaluation of your command of English language. 
 

Ability Test: Once your level of English is identified, you will be invited to complete the Ability Test

Interview:  A face-to-face interview, either online or in physical presence, will be the next step. Questions may range from subject-specific, technical ones to evaluate your competency level within the subject field you applied for, to behavioral to identify teamwork ability and make sure you share SOCAR Polymer’s core values. 
 

Offer: At long last, successful candidates will receive an offer to join the Internship Programme.
